“Be the change you wish to see in the world,” an inspirational quote by Ghandi that has shaped the life of young lady, Janna Kasmanian. Upon visiting her motherland, Armenia, in the summer of 2013, Janna was astonished to see the poor conditions and daily struggles just to survive of her people. It was this eye-opening experience that awakened her sense of appreciation and a blessed feeling to be a citizen of the United States of America. But, the mere sense of gratitude would not change anything for the people of Armenia. Janna realized that in this world, we are all in it together, that one could not and should not become blind to the fact that people in different parts of the world need help and how fortunate she is to have the opportunity to do so. This is how Bridge 2 Light Foundation was born, a passionate, giving and loving young lady, who has made it her mission to better her homeland and the families living in poverty, the orphaned, disabled and terminally-ill children, the single & widowed mothers and veterans who have risked their lives to protect her small, but strong nation of Armenia.
