School No. 163
School No. 163 under principal Narine Varteresyan, is located in 4th Masev, where 40% of the students are children of an active, retired or deceased soldier. This school also gave two buildings to develop a center for Autistic children in order to eventually mainstream them into the regular school. Bridge 2 Light Foundation will help the PTA renovate the school and help mainstream the special education children. This school will serve as the model for all other schools in Yerevan to treat children with disabilities with equity.
Gyumri SOS
With the help of these two generous souls, Hayk Kharatyan and Hayk Barseghyan of SOS Gyumri, Bridge 2 Light Foundation will help as many families living in poverty after the devastating earthquake 27 years ago. People have joined SOS from all over the world and each one shows their help and support. We have and will continue to purchase goods, supplies, furniture, appliances and hopefully soon a home for these families.
Yerevan Renaissance Women’s Creative Center
Bridge2Light Foundation has also joined forces with Yerevan Renaissance Women’s Creative Center to work with the families with disabled children and single mothers. This center teaches single mothers skills to join the workforce to be able to support their children. They also help artists by giving them supplies to create works or sew clothing in order to sell these items to make a living. They also teach free art and music classes to children. They were just given a new space and Bridge 2 Light Foundation renovated the space with new floors and a door.
KOSH - Armenak & Anna Tatevosyan Medical Center
Dr. Zaven Koloyan's Rehabilitation Center for children with severe disabilities and Janna Kasmanian of Bridge2Light Foundation have partnered up in efforts to raise funds for center and the families who reach out for help.
